Vanilla Bean Flan

I got this recipe from a really good friend and made it my own "Thx Olga".  It was so easy and delicious I just begged and begged for the recipe, and when she finally gave it to me, I was like THAT'S IT... lol

I guess the best tasting things are the simplest to make, just add a touch of LOVE and you're done.

How to Make It:

1 12 oz can Evaporated Milk (Nestle Carnation is the Brand I use)

1 14 oz Sweetened Condensed Milk ( Nestle Carnation is the Brand I use)

3 large egg yolks

1 whole large egg

1/2 tbsp vanilla extract

1/2 sugar

whip cream (optional)

fresh berries or dragon fruit to garnish (optional)

Instructions:

In a large nonstick pan, caramelize the sugar until golden brown and transfer to the bottom of your flan baking pan.  This mixture will still be loose since after baking you will invert the whole flan and that is what will give you that golden sweet syrup on the top.

In another bowl, mix the eggs, evaporated milk, condensed milk, and vanilla extract well and pour on top of the browned sugar of the flan baking pan.  seal the flan pan and pressure cook for 20 minutes then let cool

Loosen the edges of the flan before inverting onto a beautiful serving dish. Garnish with whip cream and berries. Enjoy
